Broforce [Game Review]
So there’s a pretty old game called Broforce.
I’ll start right away with the assessment. I would give it 93/100. It definitely doesn’t reach 100, but it’s definitely worthy of 93. So, there is no plot in general, the game tells about the broforce group, which consists of famous characters from the 80s, 90s and even the 2000s, like the Terminator or Rambo or Judge Dread, only with the addition of Bro. For example: Rambro, Brominator, etc.n. Who work for the government and, as they say in the game, Americanize (or more simply clear) areas with enemies. There are currently three enemy themes: terrorists, aliens and a Satan and Hell theme. The game is divided into a large number of pixelated 2D platform levels. The goal of each level is to get to the opposite end of the level, preferably killing as many enemies as possible. Each Bro is different and interesting in his own way. For example, let’s take that same woman with a machine gun instead of a prosthetic leg. she can shoot: when jumping, she shoots downward while in a closed space forward. And she has the superpower of launching a rocket. Its advantages: it can easily shoot armored machine gunners and fly over large spaces, its disadvantages: when shooting, it is more difficult to reach targets that are higher than others. There are about 33 Bros in total. Among them: Neo from the Matrix, Mad Max, Bruce Lee, Predator, Commando, RoboCop, Chuck Noriss, etc.n. And each Bro has his own super technique, his own pros and cons. Initially, you play as only Rambro and with only one life, but as soon as you free the prisoner you receive an additional. life, and character change.
The game has an online mode where you connect to a random (optional) server with a maximum of 4 players and go through the basic levels together, there is also a Versus mode where you and your bros can fight each other on your chosen Bro.
Atmosphere.
This game has its own super brutal, peasant atmosphere, which is worth it only for the personnel voice that yells various pretentious phrases, or the description for the levels, here is the top description that I could only find: This is Afgonistan.
